I snapped this picture a few days ago in Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart, outside the Porsche factory gates. What's interesting is that the flatbed truck pulled up to the gates of one of the factory buildings, but when he saw me approaching with a camera he reversed his truck and drove away.
One theory is that he just wanted a picture of his truck in front of the Porsche factory. Another theory is that this Ferrari is somehow connected to Porsche. As in, they used one to test against the new Porsche Turbo/GT2 but couldn't handle ze rear wheel drive horsepower and kissed some autobahn Armco.
Someone tell me I'm wrong.
In other news, I spotted a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in traffic in Munich.

I can so see a Porsche exec buying a smashed up GTO and then hiring a driver to parade it around Bavaria.

"What's the problem Porsche ? Can't handle a real supercar?"

Interesting. Wonder what the connection to Porsche is.

Me too. I don't quite expect somebody from Porsche to be driving a Ferrari, however I understand it's still possible. I wonder what business a GTO has in or around a Porsche factory...I'd guess perhaps to study how it survived the crash pretty well? Or reverse engineering. Questions, questions...

Is it possible the driver was lost? There are two firms in town that handle Ferrari's - Ferrari Lais Power (Ferrari exclusively) and Kroymanns which is a general exotic dealer/garage.
